At one point, Gus returns home from a friend's house and Mel doesn't hear him (I think she was doing paperwork or something). I've spent the last day picking through the tags hoping to find a specific fic. In it there is a custody battle for Gus. The end result is that Brian gets custody of Gus but Michael gets custody of JR. This is because of legal proceedings against Lindsay for the whole Gui-thing. There is a very, very small snipped of a fic I recall. I just can't find the story it belongs to. I think there had been some dispute over custody of Gus. I can't remember the name of this fic, but Lindsey wants a baby. Brian refuses so she sneaks in and steals a used condom from the trash, not realizing that it is Justin who topped. Brian calls Justin when the baby is born because it looks just like him.
